Whist a lot has been done to implement change there still remains a lot to do and a year on, it kind of feels like the initial buzz that was sparked has fizzled out. We want to help keep it going and what better way is there than by performing music. On 9th April we will be hosting a live virtual stream event right here from the office. Obviously the Pandemic has been tough on them, just like it has on everybody else. But despite the lockdown restrictions, Nick and the BAE guys have managed to plough on and keep things going.
You want to find out how they have done this, and what is next for them this year? Keep tuned. We will also share some of the most exciting new talent emerging all over the globe, as well as what working in a pandemic means for them.
Eris Herbert is a DJ, music producer, events organiser and entrepreneur all in one. It’s hard to not see something that this guy has not done; a frequent traveller and all round sociable person, it is an honour to be announcing Eris as one of the hosts for the new series and episodes of TuneSick Select, starting from end of next month.
The series, still in its infancy, welcomed a whole array of artists in 2020, pre lockdown. When the first episode aired on YouTube back in Jan 2020, we had no idea that an impending pandemic on such a scale as this was looming. There were talks amongst some people, but I don’t think anyone really appreciated the sheer severity of what was going to occur over the next year and how severely impacted our lives would be.
Nevertheless, we still ploughed on, determined to continue filming regardless of what was going to happen, and it’s great to say that we have not let it effect us really in any way, the office doors are still open to grace the finest artists from all over the world.
Moreover, one thing that certainly did arise more out of the whole Covid 19 situation was the use of more remote interviews, whereby more and more episodes take place virtually, over video. This has enabled us to reach an even wider audience; however, nothing beats face to face meetings and we still always try to do them in person wherever we can.
